 A LITTLE vs. LITTLE (uncountable nouns)

A little = een beetje (genoeg)

Little = bijna niks (niet genoeg)

🌟 "A little" = positief

🌧️ "Little" = negatief

✅ I have a little money.

→ Ik heb een beetje geld (genoeg om iets te kopen).

❌ I have little money.

→ Ik heb bijna geen geld (niet genoeg).

A FEW vs. FEW 

(countable nouns)

A few = een paar (genoeg)

Few = weinig (bijna geen)

🌟 "A few" = positief

🌧️ "Few" = negatief

✅ I have a few friends.

→ Ik heb een paar vrienden (niet veel, maar genoeg).

❌ I have few friends.

→ Ik heb weinig vrienden (bijna geen, dat is verdrietig).

1. First read the question(s) without looking at the possible answers.
   
2. Then read the part of the text it refers to.
   
3. Formulate your own answer to the question.
   
4.  Scan the answer choices for something similar to your answer.

Research shows that schoolchildren are tired because they.....

2. Are waking up in the middle of the night.
3. are getting up too early in the morning.
