English expressions are phrases or idioms that have a specific meaning beyond the individual words used. They are commonly used in spoken and written language.

Types of English Expressions
There are idioms(uitdrukkingen), proverbs(gezegdes), and colloquial expressions. Idioms are phrases that have a figurative meaning, while proverbs are wise sayings passed down through generations. Colloquial expressions are informal words or phrases.
