A TOUR OF 'MY LESSONUP'

'My LessonUp' is the starting environment of your account. Within it, you can create new folders or lessons, and navigate to classes, the lesson library, and our educational channels.

Below, we briefly explain what each component entails:
1. My Lesson
By clicking here, you will enter the editing screen of your last opened lesson. It's convenient for quickly returning to your lesson to add something, or to present it.

2. Search
Here, you can access the lesson library with over 1,500,000 available lessons. Use the filters to find a relevant lesson for your subject and topic.

3. Channels
Have a look at the lessons created by our content partners. These are lessons created by professional educators, which you can use and teach for free.

4. Community
In this section, you can share lesson ideas, tips, and suggestions with other LessonUp users, or with the LessonUp team.

5. My Classes
We recommend working with classes to facilitate easy teaching for your entire class, and to have insights into class and student progress.

6. Folders
Blue folders are collaborative folders, in which you can work together with colleagues. This feature is available within the Complete School Subscription. The yellow folders can be created by yourself (unlimited) and are visible only to you.

Creating Your First Slides

In this video, Claire explains how to create a slide and customise the default layout. You can also choose to use slides from other teachers/lessons and adjust them to your preferred style.
