Slide 3 - Slide

Paragraph 2.2
1) How does the energy from the sun get into our bodies?

2)How are fossil fuels created?

3) Name three examples of fossil fuel

Slide 4 - Slide

1) How does the energy from the sun get into our bodies?
  • Plants use the energy from the sun to grow using  photosynthesis.

  • This way energy from the sun gets stored in plants.

  •  When animals eat plants they use the energy stored in the plants to grow themselves.

Slide 5 - Slide

2)How are fossil fuels created?
  • Many trees and animals passed away over millions of years

  • As the surface of the earth changed they got buried under many layers of earth.

  • This created massive amounts of pressure. Over time they changed into fossil fuels.

    Slide 6 - Slide

    3) Name three types of fossil fuels
    •  Coal

    •  Gas

    • Oil
