Ik mag who/which/that weglaten in de zin als...

1. Het onderwerp is in de bijzin.
2. Als het geen onderwerp is in de bijzin.

Je mag who,which, that weglaten,

als het geen onderwerp is in de bijzin. 

lijdendvoorwerp is het deel van de zin dat de handleing van het werkwoord ontvangt

Gerund

Een gerund (werkwoord + -ing) gebruik je als een zelfstandig naamwoord.
Je kunt een gerund gebruiken na werkwoorden als:

Love	I love travelling
Stop	They stopped seeing each other.
Start	Abigail always starts planning as soon as she gets homework.
Enjoy	They enjoy swimming.

Gerund: ww + ing

Gerund = ww + ing (zonder to be er voor)

Als onderwerp, lijdend voorwerp of meewerkend voorwerp.

I am swimming = present continuous

Swimming is good for you = onderwerp

 I was thinking about meeting them = Lijdend/meewerkend voorwerp

When?

Je gebruikt de gerund (ww+ing): als onderwerp van de zin, lijdend voorwerp of meewerkend voorwerp.

• na ww die een mening uitdrukken (hate/ like/ love/enjoy)
• na deze ww start/ begin/ continue/ stop
• na voorzetsels (after/ before/ while/ at etc.)
• na bepaalde uitdrukkingen: It's no use / It's (not) worth it / don't mind / to look forward to

to + full verb

after verbs such as to ask, to decide, to expect, to hope, to learn, to offer, to plan, to promise, to refuse, to want. 

I asked to close his laptop.

I refused to leave the bus.

I hope to become a doctor.
