The Book Box
In groups of 3 you are going to create a book box.

For this book box every member of your group will read the same 2 books.

Decorate a box that represents the 2 books you three have read and fill it with objects and tasks that represent different parts of the books.

A shoebox will do the trick. You are going to
create it as a group, so only one box is required.

Slide 3 - Slide

What's on the outside?
Front:
Cover your box with a bookcover of your own design. Make sure the titles of the novels and the authors are clearly visible.

Back:
Design 2 blurbs for your novels. (Do not copy any existing ones!)

Side panel:
Names of all group members and class.

The Big Book box Bazaar
What to do at The Big Book Box Bazaar?

On this day, as a group, you will present your Book Box to a live audience. Show the audience your Book box. Explain all the tasks and the choices you made. Show the objects, serve the food or drinks, present the awards, etc. Be creative and entertain the audience! Make them want to read the books!

Also, at the bazaar you can decide which one of the Book Boxes (not yours) deserves extra credits for its originality and creativity. The group members of The Book Box with most credits will get one extra point on their final mark and will win:
