Present tenses (tegenwoordige tijden)
Present simple: feiten, gewoontes of als iets al regelmatig gebeurt (of juist niet)
I eat cereal every morning.
Do you eat cereal every morning?
I don't eat cereal every morning.
Present simple is de ik-vorm.
Wat is ook alweer de ik-vorm?

They aren't in charge of the project.

Als iets nu aan de gang is of als iemand iets nu aan het doen is.
Ook wanneer je je ergert aan iets. 
Am/are/is + hele ww +-ing
Are you writing that email now?
The music isn't playing too loud at the moment.
He is always biting his nails.

Tag questions (aangeplakte vragen
Gebruik je achter een zin als je bevestiging wilt. Kan je vergelijken met "toch?"
Positieve zin -> tag question negatief.
He is a strict teacher, isn't he?
Negatieve zin -> tag question positief
You aren't in my English class, are you?

Bij de werkwoorden am, is, are en can moet je het werkwoord herhalen in de tag question. 
You can speak English, can't you?
You aren't writing this down, are you?
Bij zinnen met I am gebruikt je aren't I in de tag question.

Bij andere werkwoorden gebruik je een vorm van do in de tag question.
She volunteers at the hostel, doesn't she? 
He collected money for charity, didn't he?
De hoofdzin en de tag question staan altijd in dezelfde tijd (present of past).
