Regel

Om een rangtelwoord in het Engels te schrijven is er één regel (met wat uitzonderingen)

From the first to the twentieth

one = first (1st)

two = second (2nd)

three = third (3rd)

eight = eighth ! ==> komt alleen een 'h' achter

nine = ninth ! ==> 'e' valt weg

ten = tenth

twelve = twelfth ! ==> 've' wordt 'f'
