If you can say “it is” → write it’s.
If you can say “they are” → write they’re.
Round 4: Zoos are better then circuses.

Use than when you compare.

✔ Lions are stronger than dogs.
2️⃣ Then = time / next
Use then for order or time.
✔ First we rescue them, then we release them.
✔ We eat and then we go home.

I think zoos are good because they help endangered animals and they give them food and protection and they let them breed but sometimes they are bad because animals are stressed and they have small cages and people make a lot of noise and that is not natural for them and that makes them unhappy.

1️⃣ Use full stops
If your sentence is very long → stop and make a new sentence.
❌ Animals are stressed and they are sad and they are alone and it is bad.
✔ Animals are stressed. They are sad and alone.
2️⃣ Do not use too many “and”
Many students write: and … and … and …

How to fix long sentences.
3️⃣ One idea = one sentence
Write one main idea.
Then start a new sentence.
4️⃣ Use linking words
Instead of many “and”, use:

Because
💡 Tip:
If you need to take a breath while reading → your sentence is too long.
