Grammar: ordinal numbers

Rangtelwoorden gebruik je om een volgorde aan te geven.

Een rangtelwoord maak je (bijna !) altijd door er

-th achter te zetten: fourth, seventh, sixteenth

Uitzondering

Kijk naar het plaatje? Welke rangtelwoorden zie je?<div>In het Engels schrijf je eerste, tweede en derde zo:</div><div>1<b>st</b> = first, 2<b>nd</b> = second, 3<b>rd</b> = third Dus<b> geen -th</b> maar een eigen vorm!</div><div>(en twenty-first, thirty-second, etc.).</div>
