Je vormt Adverbs (bijwoorden) als volgt:
1. Je zet achter het bijvoeglijk naamwoord -ly. Vb. wonderful -- wonderfully
2. Eindigt het bijvoeglijk naamwoord op -y dan wordt dit-ily. Vb. easy -- easily
3. Eindigt het bijvoeglijk naamwoord op -le dan wordt dit -ly. Vb. terrible -- terribly
4. Eindigt het bijvoeglijk naamwoord op ic dan wordt dit ically.
