Gebruik
De Passive Voice gebruik je wanneer je extra focus wil leggen op wat gedaan wordt, in plaats van wie het doet. Bijvoorbeeld omdat wie het doet niet belangrijk is (1), of omdat je het niet wilt vertellen (2):
1. The door was closed. 
2. My homework was done. 
      (by my brother, but I'm going to pretend I did it myself)

Regel 1
In de basis ga je van wie-doet-wat naar wat-gedaan door-wie:
My alarm woke me up -->  I  was woken up by my alarm

   - Dit doe je door een vorm van to be toe te voegen,
      en het oude ww in de voltooide vorm te zetten. 
   - Als je benoemd wie het doet, moet je er "by" voor zetten. 
   - Belangrijk! Voornaamwoorden veranderen van vorm.

Let op! De to be-vorm is afhankelijk van de tijd in de actieve zin.

Requirements
  • ONLY physical dictionary allowed. NO online apps like translaten or deepl!
  • Factual information on the topic is allowed. Both English and Dutch.
  • Mind grammar and spelling! 
  • Include a (correct) passive form and underline it.
  • Write between 200 - 250 words
  • Written by hand. Put your name and group at the top.
  • Hand in at the end of class.
