When do you use a present perfect? 
- something started in the past but is still going on in the present..
I have lived in Amsterdam since 1998 (so you still live there)

-To talk about experiences or events of which the result is still noticeable.
I can't find my keys. I have lost them. 
She has broken her leg.

- when something happened in the past but we don't know exactly when
Marie has spoken to John.
My parents have bought a new car.

Already, yet and just
- Already usually comes in mid-position
She has already eaten her sandwich.

-Yet is used in questions and negatives and usually comes at the end of the sentence
I haven't seen that movie yet.
Have you finished your homework yet?

-Just usually comes in mid-position
He has just spoken to his teacher.
