Plan: 2 presentations and K - watching -> last time to practice in class!

At the end of the lesson I:

- can listen and put steps in the correct order based on what I see and hear.

- have given feedback on 2 presentations

Overgang start naar doelen: alright everybody, good afternoon. Put your phones in the phone bag. I want all 21 of them in there. Take out your books, a notebook and a pen. Compliment the students who already have their books/put their phones away. Make it go quick. They can do this within 30 seconds because it's all a reminder of what I already said.

Today we have 2 presentations and after that we will do some watching practice. Last time before the test. Student, please read out the goals for me.

Interruptions:

Behalve bij te grote overtredingen. Dan is het of meteen verplaatsen/strafwerk of meteen vertrekken.

4. vertrekken - dit wel echt doen. Als ik dit consequent doe, gebeurt het mogelijk een aantal keer, maar daarna hopelijk niet meer.

Presentations

1. While the person in front of the class is presenting, the rest of the class is quiet. Laughter will not be tolerated.

2. Those not presenting write down: 1 tip, 1 top, 1 piece of feedback about: Content (the info), use of english (grammar/words), and pronunciation.

3. When we're done, I will ask some of you to give me that feedback.

Opschrijven in het schrift.

A couple of rules about the presentation to keep in mind. Comment that laughter if the presenter makes a joke is obviously allowed, but any other laughter is not. They all write down 1 tip, 1 top and 1 piece of specific feedback based on their topic. Divide the topics among the rows. 

"Alright, we have 2 presentations today. A quick reminder of the rules. You need your notebook to write down 1 tip and 1 top, they can be about the presentation in general and then you write down one thing specifically to the topic you get *name which row does which topic*. Afterwards you have to tell me what you wrote down.

This start up and explanation and getting the PowerPoint ready should take about 2-3 minutes. After which we have 2 presentations of (hopefully) around 5-8 minutes.

In addition, there will be about 3 minutes per presentation to give feedback and ask the questions that were written down.

Making this part of the lesson a total of about 26 minutes.

Je zet dus het juiste nummertje voor de statements. Woorden die je niet kent?

Laat lln de juiste pagina erbij pakken en 1 leerling leest het introductie tekstje voor.

Je gaat dus de handelingen in de juiste volgorde zetten door het te nummeren. Hiervoor moet je zowel luisteren als kijken.

How: Je mag met de persoon naast je aan het werk. 

Help: De stones vertalingen, elkaar, de docent

Done: Leer (herhaal) woordjes van A, B en C

Zelf bezig:

Verwachtingen: Dan ga je nu de opdrachten van de stones maken. Ik wil iedereen bezig zien met deze opdrachten. Je mag rustig samenwerken met de persoon naast je. Als je klaar bent met de opdrachten dan ga je de woorden van A, B en C opnieuw leren.

Zet leerlingen aan het werk.

Als leerlingen niet bezig zijn waar ze mee bezig moeten zijn: 

1. Herhaal de verwachtingen

2. Waarschuw ze

3. Verplaats ze naar een plek waar ze alleen zitten.

4. Geef ze strafwerk op. Woensdag leveren ze in: Woorden van C En-Ne en Ne-En 2 keer. Het gewone hw is ook af. Deze gaan ze buiten het lokaal maken. Alleen boeken/papier en pen mee, de tas en telefoon blijven in het lokaal.

Students may not put their books away until I am done discussing the goals with them. If they do, they need to grab them again. No exceptions. (Unless I have told them they could in the step before this)
