  • 8 times bigger than the Netherlands
  • New Zealand has 4.925.477 citizens. The Netherlands have 17.280.397 citizens
      (Netherlands has 3,5 times more citizens than New Zealand but is 8 times smaller)
  • There are 9 sheep per each person in New Zealand
  • Lord of the Rings is fully set in New Zealand;
  • New Zealand is also known as 'adventure capital of the world'
  • New Zealand is the 3rd closest country to Antarctica, only after Chile and Argentina;
  • Home to (one of) the best rugby team(s) in the world "The All Blacks"
