Before you start listening
- what do you know about the subject?
- can you prepare for what you're going to listen to?
- decide what you want to learn 
from what you're going to listen to

- is it something you would want to listen to?
- do you just want to get the big picture?
- are you looking for an answer to a certain question?
-do you want to know everything?
Most of the time it's a combination of these questions

Listening B1 tips

Waar moet je op letten bij luistervaardigheid:

1. Lees de vraag (en eventuele meerkeuze antwoorden) goed

2. Maak slim gebruik van de informatie in de vraag

3. Als je luistert, zoek niet naar letterlijke vertalingen die je gehoord hebt. Zorg dat je de kern van het antwoord weet

4. Blijf luisteren, ook bij moeilijke stukken. Laat je niet afleiden door moeilijke woorden

5. Luister het hele fragment af, het antwoord kan in het laatste stukje zitten
