What is a Religion?
A religion is a set of beliefs about the world, life, and often about God or gods.

A church is a special place where Christians meet to pray, sing and learn about God.
Who is Jesus?
Jesus is a very important person in Christianity. Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God.
What is the Bible?
The Bible is a special book for Christians. It has stories and teachings about God and Jesus.

They believe Jesus taught people to be kind and help others.
Christians believe God is loving and looks after everyone.
Are There Other Religions?
Yes! People around the world follow different religions and beliefs.

Muslims believe in one God called Allah. Their special book is the Qur’an.

Jewish people believe in one God. Their special book is the Torah.
Learning About Hinduism
Many Hindus believe in many gods. Their special books are called the Vedas.
Learning About Buddhism
Buddhists follow the teachings of Buddha and try to be peaceful and kind.
