Present simple:
Active: I wash the dishes
Passive: The dishes are washed by me

Past simple:
Active: I washed the dished
Passive: The dishes were washed by me

  • Use to be + past participle (voltooid deelwoord)
  • Present simple: am/is/are
  • Past simple: was/were
  • Voltooid deelwoord: verb + -ed/onregelmatig werkwoord
