What is Rate of Reaction?

- Measure of how fast reactants turn into products - Example: Rusting (slow) vs. explosion (fast) - A high rate means products form quickly.

Collision Theory

- Particles must collide to react - Enough energy is needed (activation energy) - Collisions must have correct orientation
