Wanneer gebruik je de past simple?
  • Je gebruikt de past simple wanneer iets in het verleden is gebeurt en nu is afgelopen. 
  • Als er een tijdsbepaling in de zin staat.(yesterday, last night)
Hoe ziet de Past Simple eruit?
  • Bij regelmatige werkwoorden (regular verbs):
        ww + ed (bv. stay - stayed, walk - walked)
