You are a - very patient and polite - guest at a restaurant and you have complaint. Decide for yourself what you are going to complain about, there are some suggestions below.

  • Draw the waiter's attention.
  • Complain, using an expression. 
  • Explain, again, why you do believe there is a problem. 
  • Ask for a solution, using an expression.
  • Thank the waiter. 
B. - the waiter
You are a waiter at a restaurant, an you are not in a good mood today. That is why you are not very cooperative. 

  • Enquire after (ask for) the problem.
  • Use an expression to indicate that you think the customer is the problem. Stay polite!
  • Apologise, using an expression. 
  • Offer a solution, using an expression.
