Stap 1: Is het een bevestigende, ontkennende of vragende zin.
  • Bevestigende zin? Dan gebruik je "a lot of"

  • Vraagzin of ontkennende zin? ga door naar stap 2:
Stap 2: Is het zelfstandig naamwoord telbaar of ontelbaar?
Telbaar? Dan gebruik je many: Do you have many friends?
Niet telbaar? Dan gebruik je much: I haven't got much money
