a children's picture book

Step 1: find your idea
  • Topic? Story? 
  • Browse the internet or a library's catalogue for  ideas. 
  • Age range? 3 - 6 years olds! 
    --> What do you know about children this age? 
  • Story has to have a happy ending

Step 2: the story
- Start writing your story by making a timeline
                      - What happens first? 
                      - Second? Third? ... 
                      - How does it end? 
                      - Plot development! 
- Think about the style you are going to write in (rhyme? Level of English...) 
- Add at least three literary devices
