  • Bestaan uit 2 delen:
- Bijzin met voorwaarde (begint met if)
- Hoofdzin met gevolg

  • Likely to happen (waarschijnlijk)

Dus bijvoorbeeld:
Als we de bus missen, nemen we een taxi.
If we miss the bus, we will get a taxi.

           if + past simple  + would + verb

If I won a lot of money, I would buy a big house in the country.

    For example:
  • If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house.
     (I probably won't win the lottery)

  • I would give him my number if he asked me.
     (He might not ask me)
