Presentation script: Introduction

Describe your item:

* Explain what we see, why you picked this item and what it means to you.​

Use like/don’t/doesn’t like at least 2 times. Try to vary your vocabulary! 

Body​ - Tell us more about it: what is there to know about your object/picture?​

Explain how it’s used/what it does/your personal experience and stories related to your item/topic.​

• When did you get it?
• Why is it meaningful or important to you?
• Share a specific story or moment.

Include a fun element: 

share an interesting or surprising fact 

related to your topic to capture attention.

 

Conclusion

Give a short summary and round it off with a nice conclusion.

Make a crib sheet for your presentation.​

Of course, we don’t want you to use your entire script during your presentation. This might cause you to read it instead of presenting it to class. ​

Write down a few key words (max 10) to help you during your presentation. ​

Practise giving your presentation again, by just using your crib sheet with key words.​
