Present simple

Gebruik je als iets een gewoonte of een feit is.

present simple => hele werkwoord (+S)

Bijvoorbeeld: She always walks to school

Do you walk to school every day?

I don't walk to school

Present simple

Vraag zin

Do/Does + hele werkwoord

Ontkennende zin

Do/Does + not + hele werkwoord

Jennifer always ...... (to wear) black

My brother and I sometimes ..... (to fight)

We ....... (to go) to France every summer)

Present continuous

Gebruik je wanneer iets op dit moment bezig is.

Am/Are/Is + hele werkwoord +ing

Bijvoorbeeld: I am learning English right now.

Am I learning English right now?

I am not learning English right now.

Where are my sisters? They .......... (to play) a game of tennis in the garden.

I ........... (not, to enjoy) this movie at all. Can we watch something else?

I can't fall asleep because it ........ (to storm) like crazy.

Verschil

Present continuous: Het is op het moment van spreken bezig. 

am/are/is + hele werkwoord +ing

Present simple: Iets gebeurt altijd, vaak, soms, nooit.

Hele werkwoord (+s)

Do/Does + hele werkwoord

Where is Tim? Tim ..... a letter to his grandmother.
