Billy Edmund Albert Monger was born  on 5 May 1999 and is a British former racing driver who raced in British F4 in 2016 and 2017. 
He now works as a commentator and pundit

What happened to Billy?
In April 2017, whilst in a race, Billy Monger was critically injured in a collision at Donington Park that caused both of his legs to be amputated, one below and the other above the knee.

Billy's nickname
Billy Monger's nickname is Billy Whizz, inspired by the character from the Beano comic. This nickname was given to him by Sung Kang, an actor from the "Fast & Furious" movie franchise, according to a Guardian article. The actor suggested it as a "cool" and "fast" nickname fitting for a racing driver.
