Getting to know each other.
Take 5 minutes to write down answers to the following. After the 5 minutes you must be able to discuss these in class.

 Tips:
1. Read the whole text quite quickly. Don’t worry if you don't understand everything. , Get a feel for the text as a whole and the order of events.

2. Read all the paragraph options and begin to identify the people, places, and things that were also mentioned in the main text.

3. Underline the linking expressions used in both the paragraph options and main text.
 For example:
“The next morning we awoke…” suggests that the previous paragraph will have details about the end of the previous day, or something which happened at night.
4. Underline the different pronouns used in these paragraphs, what do they refer to. For example:

This gives us an indication of…”  What is this referring to?

5. Begin with the paragraphs that are clear/you are confident about.
6. Don't be scare to change the order later.
7. Check if the paragraph that is left does not fit.
