Present Simple

ww bij I/you/we/they                              I work as a teacher everyday

ww+s bij he/she/it       (dus ook the teacher, Sarah, John, the dog, etc.)

She works on her homework on Fridays.       The dog always plays with the bone.

(+) I read a book every day.

(-) I do not read a book every day.

(?) Do I read a book every day?

signal words: sometimes, everyday, never, on Wednesday's, etc.

Present Continuous

am/are/is + ww+ing

I am looking right now.      you/we/they are cycling home at the moment.

(+) I am looking at the board right now.            am/are/is + ww+ing

(-) I am not looking at the board right now.     am/are/is + not + ww+ing

(?) Am I looking at the board right now?          am/are/is <--> persoon 

Signal words: right now, at the moment, currently.

Present Simple and Present Continuous                                          

Present Simple:

Wanneer: altijd, vaak, soms, nooit

Signaalwoorden: every week, on Monday's, never, at Wednesdays 

I study English every week            She plays football every Tuesday.

Present Continuous:

Wanneer: nu, op dit moment

Signaalwoorden: right now, today, at the moment, Look!

Right now I am studying for English               Look! They are walking out.
