& Welcome Back!

Questions about the feedback on the formative assessment?

Slide 3 - Slide

Tips, based on formative
  • Add the word count
  • Learner info: Refer to week 2 content to help with this. Include CEFR and other frameworks. Refer to the theory.
  • Do not use "and" in SCs as this means you are combining two SC into one (makes it harder to check for learning/tick the box).
  • Format = 3 lessons. Learners need to produce something. Lessons 1+2 = give content to help learners produce something (in/after lesson 2). Lesson 3 = You design this based on the evaluation of the product.

C4Us = Checks for Understanding

Analyse evidence of learning
Describe and explain observations of the collected evidence of learning. What went well? Why? Where is room for improvement?
Discuss findings/analysis with students
Providing students with feedback. Informing them about your findings. How do you do that so their learning can benefit from your feedback?
Improve your teaching and the students' learning
If you had to teach the same again, what would you do differently? Why?
Aims and success criteria (SC)
AIM(S) = WHAT do you want your students to learn?
SC = HOW will your students reach the aim?
