The rules
Much you use for "uncountable" nouns = you can't count them and they don't have a plural. Example: money

Many you use for "countable"nouns = you can count them and they have a plural form. Example coins

In affirmative sentences (.) you can also use 'a lot of'
a lot of    (I have a lot of money.)
But in questions and negatives

(Do you have any  money?)
(He doesn't have any money.)
