What helps you when you feel overwhelmed or stressed?
Slide 12 - Open question
Sometimes little feelings turn into big feelings that won't go away and these can make us feel very overwhelmed and stressed.
It can feel like you have so much going around in your head you feel like your head could explode!
When you feel like this your tummy might hurt, you may struggle to get to sleep and you might find it difficult to concentrate at school.
Often it helps to talk to someone about how you are feeling and this can feel like a weight has been lifted from your shoulders!
Sometimes it can be difficult to know what to say but it is better to talk to someone about how you are feeling rather than bottling up those feelings.
There are lots of people you can talk to if you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed, for example, your parents/carers, a friend, your teacher or TA, a doctor, a relative.
