Our New Story's Author

Saki was the pen name of Hector Hugh Munro, a British writer born in 1870. He is famous for his short stories that combine dark humor, irony, and surprising endings.

Saki often wrote about human behavior, pride, and conflict, sometimes showing how people’s arguments or ambitions can lead to unexpected consequences. His stories are usually short, sharp, and full of twists, which makes them memorable and powerful.

One of his best-known stories is “The Interlopers,” where two enemies meet in a forest and discover that nature can be more powerful than human hatred.

Saki died in 1916 during World War I, but his stories are still widely read today because of their clever irony and shocking endings.
