Understanding Past Tense

Past tense describes actions that have already happened. Example: 'I played football yesterday.'

کاتی ڕابردوو ئاماژە بە کردارەکان دەکات کە تەواوکراون. بۆ نمونە: دوێنێ تۆپی پێ کرد.

Forming Past Tense

Regular verbs: add 'ed'. Irregular verbs: change form (e.g., go > went).

فرمانە ئاساییەکان: Add 'ed'. فرمانی ناڕێک: فۆرم بگۆڕە (بۆ نموونە، 'go' دەبێتە 'ڕۆیشتن').

Past Tense Activity

Think of something you did last weekend and share with a partner.

Forming Future Tense

Use 'will' before the verb. Example: 'I will eat dinner.'
