He was just 16 years old when he sailed around the world by himself.
He became the youngest person to do this.
He sailed over 28,000 miles across three oceans.

Zac wanted to see if he could do something difficult and exciting.
He also loved sailing and wanted to explore the world.

He had to learn how to manage being all alone.
He had to take care of his boat all by himself.
He had to plan his meals and water, making sure he didn't run out.
He had to navigate his way using maps, tools and equipment.
