  • What is your case?  (real situation in teaching, something you weren't happy about, didn't know how to react/what to do)
  • In short, tell us what happened (not how it ended)
  • What is the intervision question you have about this?

Introductie vraag 
 The case-bringer explains the incident again in short,  until the critical moment:
  • What happened?
  • What did you do? – your behaviour
  • What was the cause? – What behaviour was shown that may have contributed?
  • Wat underlying thoughts? – What were you thinking? With what intention?
  • How did you feel? – Your emotions during the incident
What is the problem? 
The rest of us listen to the content of the case and experience what feelings/reactions/emotions occur within us.

Problem discovery
Members of the group collect information. 
Each member of a group 
can ask 3 open questions.


The case-bringer answers the questions in short without elaborating.

Gossiping
  • The case-bringer sits outside of the circle with their back to the group.
  • The group gossips about the situation and the case-bringer in the 3rd person.
  • The situation is discussed, as is the context, background, causes and possible solutions.

The case-bringer doesn't intervene in this conversation but does make notes!

The case-bringer re-enters the circle and explains:

  • What hit you most?
  • What did you notice?
  • What other new insights did you gain from the gossipping?
