2. Present Simple - Negatives & Questions
To create a Negative or Question in the Present Simple we use the verb 'to do'

With I / You / We / They gebruik je 'do'

With  He / She / It gebruik je 'does'

To create a Question in the Present Simple gebruik je:
do/does + subject + full verb

Do you run?
Does he run?

Present Simple - Negative
To create a Negative in thee Present Simple we use:
Subject + do/does + not + full verb

I do not run. - I don't run.
She does not run. - She doesn't run.

3. Exceptions
When the verb 'to have got' is used we do not use 'do/does'

I have got a lot of hobbies. - I haven't got a lot of hobbies.
She has got new shoes. - Has she got new shoes?
