  • Genres: mystery, love-story, suspense (whodunnit?) human     interest
  • Plot /  / setting / characters / theme

Setting
Setting is everything surroundig your characters, which country, town or countryside,  situation if life e.g. rich or poor.
Time of setting:  when does the story take place? Now, past, future, or unknown (fantasy) 
Time: how long does the story take, a year, two months, one day, one hour

Write a story, between 250- 400 words 
Use at least three of the following chunks:

- Eskimo village disappeared                -  no footprints were found
- one smouldering fire                             -  food was untouched in their huts
- people saw a strange blue light       -  still unexplained
- somebody found the village deserted
-  a diary was found
