Task goal (groupwork):
Make and film a newsitem video in which the reporter explains a crime, 2 eye witnesses describe the criminal and an experts gives advice about the situation.

What are you going to learn:
- How to use the vocabulary of chapter 2 to make correct English sentences about the topic
- How to describe a crime  that happened in the past (present perfect)
- How to give vital information about the criminal
- How to give advice to people / tell people what to do (modal verbs)

1. Work in groups of 2
2. You are going to listen to a song with a crime topic
2. Choose a song from the list and listen to it (headphones) while reading the lyrics  (Teams - Files)
3. After listening answer the questions on the next slide on a piece of paper

After listening, write on a piece of paper your teacher gives you:
- Your group names
- Make a list with words in the lyrics that have to do with crime + translation
- Write a short summary of the song and explain what the lyrics are about
- Together name 2 different songs with a crime theme for future classes

Step 1:  Use p. 120/121 in your book. Use Themewords and A watching
                 Make 2 vocab tests for two classmates. 
                 Write 6 English words and 6 Dutch words the classmate has                  to translate
Step 3:     Write down your name on top of the page. Hand in
Step 4:     Study the vocab (themewords and A watching)

Preparation (3 minutes):
Sit in a group of 4
Have the vocabulary list open (p. 122/123) in your book.

Assignment:
Step 1:       Everyone makes a test about the words 
10 mins     (5 English words and 5 Dutch words someone else has to translate)                    
                     Say the words out loud in your group while making the test.     
                     You can't use the same words in your test as your classmates do!
Step 2:      Close your vocab list. Give your test to you neighbour. fill in the test (without talking)
Step 3:     Give the tests to the next group. This group is going to correct and mark the tests.
