Timeline

In this lesson you are going to make a timeline of the Abrahamic religions. On your timeline you need:

1. Organize the events into a timeline. Each event should be placed in the appropriate historical order based on when it occurred or is believed to have occurred.

2. Add key figures and places to your timeline, such as:

• Abraham's Call (God tells Abraham to leave Ur).
• The Covenant with God (Promise of descendants).
• Birth of Isaac (Judaism’s line of descent).
• Birth of Ishmael (Islam’s line of descent).
• The Sacrifice of Isaac/Ishmael (a central story in all three religions, though interpreted differently).
• Jesus’ Birth and Ministry (Christianity).
• Rebuilding of the Kaaba by Ibrahim and Ishmael (Islam).
