What Can You Build

The HTML and CSS and design theory that’s covered will enable you to build a stylish front-end web page, such as any of Netflix’s series details pages.

What’s Involved?

We’ll learn the ‘front-end’ code that runs websites.

This code is called HTML and CSS.

HTML tells your browser what order things like text, images and video should appear in your browser.

CSS tells your browser where exactly these elements should go and what kind of styling they have (e.g. fonts, colours, and spacing).

Course Structure

Delivery:

Lectures with slides, documentation, and videos

Practical lab exercises delivered by interactive lessons and in-class tutorials

Assessments:

Multiple Choice Quizes based on lectures (25% of marks)

Coding exercise based assignments based on HTML & CSS (35%)

Group project based on HTML & CSS (40%)
