Words are your gold when learning a language.
The more words you learn, the better you will understand and speak the language.

Words to learn
  • Stick the words in your English notebook with glue.
  • Grab two coloured pencils (green and yellow are best)
  • Check the words and their meaning.
  • --> Do you already know the word (and the English spelling!), colour the dot green
  • --> Is the word new to you or are you not sure about it yet, colour it yellow.

English is everywhere!

You can find English in commercials and in the streets, you hear it in songs and on TV and in films, lots of books and texts are printed in English, many computer games use English and English is the international language of business and the internet. So, it's pretty useful to know English!

Have a guess.
How many people in the world speak English (approximately)?

Slide 11 - Slide

Uncountable!
Estimates range from 470 million
to over 1 billion!

Slide 12 - Slide

So, wherever you plan to go, you can probably use English!
