fraternisation
Music brings people together.

Think of a pop concert. Lovers of this music come together to listen, dance, enjoy this music.
Music also fraternises people. Music brings people together to show that they can be touched by the same thing, even if you belong to 'different groups'. Fraternisation means to meet someone socially, especially someone who belongs to an opposing army or team, or has a different social position.
