What do you already know about color theory and the color wheel?
What is a Color Wheel?
A color wheel is a circular diagram of colors arranged by their chromatic relationship. It helps artists and designers understand color interactions.
Primary Colors
Primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. These colors cannot be created by mixing other colors.
Secondary Colors
Secondary colors are green, orange, and purple. They are created by mixing two primary colors.
Tertiary Colors
Tertiary colors are created by mixing a primary and a secondary color. Examples include red-orange, yellow-green, and blue-purple.
Warm and Cool Colors
Warm colors include red, orange, and yellow. Cool colors are blue, green, and purple. They evoke different moods and feelings.
Complementary Colors
Complementary colors are opposite each other on the color wheel. They create contrast and visual interest.
