Introduction
Dear pupil,

Welcome back. Hopefully, you are going to pass your exams at the end of this year.
You are about to start theme: 'Going out'.
Welkom terug. Hopelijk slaag je eind dit jaar voor je examen. Je gaat nu starten met het thema 'uitgaan'.​

What are you going to do?
You are going to read, listen, speak and write about 'Going out'.
You will find different things to watch, to listen to, to read and of course to do.
There are videos, recordings, pictures, photos, texts and assignments.
There are different types of assignments.

How about you?
What are your free time activities?
Are those activities mostly at home, reading, watching TV or listening to music or do you like going out?
What are you doing when you go out? To the cinema? Or just hanging out with friends in the park?

Writing
Je gaat een e-mail schrijven aan je penvriend(in) in Engeland.
Verwerk de volgende punten:

Bedenk een naam voor je penvriend(in).
Groet je penvriend(in).
schrijf je penvriend(in) in ca. een half A4tje over je zomervakantie.
Schrijf een passend slot.
Schrijf je naam onder de e-mail.
Lever de e-mail in.

                               Present simple ( tegenwoordige tijd)

hoe: hele werkwoord (bij he, she, it + s)

               I work       he works      

        

Wanneer: Bij feiten, gewoonten, en regelmatige gebeurtenissen

               She works at an office. (feit)

               He always goes to school by bike. (gewoonte)


Herkenningswoorden:  always, usually, often, never, sometimes, every day, on Sundays etc

Hoe: vorm van to be (am, is, are) + werkwoord - ing

          He is playing


wanneer :1.  om te zeggen dat iets nu aan de gang is (duurvorm)

                           I am doing the dishes at the moment.

                      2.  om irritatie aan te geven

                           She is always taking very long breaks.


Herkenningswoorden: at the moment, (right) now, Look ! Listen !
