2.5 Grammar: used to + Verb

To talk about:

• past states that are no longer true
• past actions which happened regularly but do not happen anymore.

Write an affirmative (+) sentence
with 'used to' that's true for you.

Write a negative sentence (-)
or question (?) with 'used to'.

used to + Verb

To talk about:

• past states that are no longer true
• past actions which happened regularly but do not happen  anymore.

We use the Past Simple to talk about actions that
happened only once or not regularly, not 'used to'!
