A robot is a machine that can do tasks. Some robots are controlled by people, and some work by themselves.
What Could Your Robot Do?
Think about what job your robot will have. Will it help at home, at school, or do something fun?
Plan Your Robot
How Will It Work?
How does your robot move and do its job? Does it need special tools or buttons?
What Will It Look Like?
Will it be big or small? What colour will it be? Does it have arms, legs or wheels?
Draw and Label Your Robot
Draw a big, clear picture of your robot. Label its parts to show what each part does.
Explain Your Robot
Be ready to tell the class what your robot does and why you designed it that way.
Share Your Brilliant Robot!
Show your drawing and explain your ideas. Listen to your friends and celebrate everyone’s creations.
