LO:  I can identify how Malala stood up for girls' education.

What do you think Malala might have done that has made her into a superhero?

Malala lived in a country called Afghanistan.

It is in the continent of Asia.

In Afghanistan today, girls are still banned from attending secondary school by the Taliban.

Once girls are 11 years old, they have to stay at home.  

Malala wrote a book about her experiences.  It is called Malala's Magic Pencil.

It is on the next slide.
