Example: They are working now.

How do you make this tense?

1. you use the verb to be: am, is / are +

2. infinitive + ING

 

Remember?

I am eating at the moment. +

I am not eating at the moment. -

Am I eating at the moment?

Present continous = to be + ww + ing

When? right now, at the moment, today

Spelling rules

1. Verb (most of them): am/are/is + verb + -ing
   wear > I am wearing / you are wearing / he is wearing
2. Verb ending in -e: remove -e & add -ing
   dance > I am dancing 
3. Verb ending in short vowel + consonant: double consonant
   chat > I am chatting
