Slide 7 - Tekstslide

After fertilization
When the egg cells in all the ovules are fertilized, the ovary will start to grow. The ovary will change into a fruit. Seeds can be found inside the fruit. The image shows a pod fruit.

Slide 8 - Tekstslide

Fruits
The shape of the fruit says a lot about how the seeds are dispersed (spread). A pod is very long, and some fruits have a lot of pulp. This can often be eaten by animals or humans.

Slide 10 - Video

Seeds
Every seed contains a plant embryo, the beginning of a new plant. The amount of seeds is different for each fruit. This says something about the amount of ovules in the flower.
